Real Russian Wodka is made of rye. Real Russian Ska is made by Russkaja. Though the ingredients are different, the effect is the same. Wodka and Russkaja hit you right between the eyes!
The gigs of Russkaja are orgies of powerful rythmn, freaky vocals, extatic dance and they are electrifying the audience like hardly any other live-act. Russkaja do ska the world now since one year. And one year Russkaja also means 64 gigs in 4 countries, more than 15.000 kilometers on the road, one show being blown away by a storm seven concerts where the band members did stage-diving into emptyness or one gig where the trombone player did leave the stage to flirt with a young lady.
Now right in time for the one year celebration here comes the first EP named „DAWAI“. It contains the first four tracks Russkaja did record in the studio and without doubt
it’s a perfect appetizer for the album to come.
Since one thing is for sure: Russkaja are like the effect of Wodka. Unpredictable and powerful.
